MILWAUKEE (SPECTRUM NEWS) — Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill are making their way to the Badger state this week.

Biden's team announced the Democratic presidential candidate and his wife will hold a community meeting in Kenosha on Thursday, "to bring together Americans to heal and address the challenges we face."

The two will then make a local stop in Kenosha.

No other details have been released.

Biden's visit to Kenosha comes two days after President Donald Trump's. Their trips both come after nights of civil unrest in the city following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

This marks Biden's first visit to Wisconsin this election season; the Democratic National Convention was held in Milwaukee, but Biden and vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris spoke remotely from Delaware.
