MILWAUKEE, Wis. (SPECTRUM NEWS) - As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases climbed in Wisconsin Monday, hundreds of thousands of now-unemployed Wisconsinites and struggling small business owners continued to search for financial relief to help get them through to the end of the crisis.
"Our number one priority is to protect the health and safety of Wisconsinites," Wisconsin State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski told Spectrum News 1 Monday afternoon, "and we know that in containing this awful, awful disease, it has come to impact our employees and small businesses..."
Godlewski went on to detail several options now available through the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
