WISCONSIN (SPECTRUM NEWS) -- As faith-based organizations across Wisconsin are following the ‘Safer at Home’ orders, many, even moving Sunday services online,  one of Milwaukee’s largest churches, is using its ministry during this crisis to feed families in the community.

Christian Faith Fellowship Church is giving away boxes of food and groceries to 500 families in need during this time of uncertainty.  Saturday, those who registered can pick up their food boxes at the CFFC Destiny Plaza from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. through a drive-up only service.  The church has asked that all recipients stay in their cars while their box is brought out to them.

Darrell Hines, Christian Faith’s Bishop, says these food distributions minister love and send a message that we're all in this together.

“This is the greatest moment to reach out and give, let people know there are people that are concerned about you,” said Hines.  “If we can do something to help you through this moment, whether it’s a meal or prayer, we’re going to do that.”

If you’re running low on groceries, or know someone who could use a meal, at last check there are still a few food boxes left.  Pre-registration is required.  A confirmation ticket must be printed or displayed on your phone to be presented at pickup.
