MILWAUKEE (SPECTRUM NEWS)- With bars across Wisconsin shuttered and restaurants remaining open for carry-out only, many servers and bartenders are concerned about their bottom lines.

At Wolski's Tavern in Milwaukee, it is a St. Patrick's Day like no other, with no customers at the bar. It is something staff at the 111 year old mainstay tavern have never experienced before. Paul Johnson has worked as a bartender at Wolski's for years. He says while he is worried about losing out on tips, he actually considers himself among the lucky ones to still be working.

"We are just going to take it one day at a time. That is all we can do right now, we just developed a plan today just going to do some painting, refinish hardwood floors, and do some deep cleaning, and some well deserved work in here." says Johnson

At Miss Katie's Diner on Milwaukee's near west side business has been slow. Like other restaurants around the state, it is closed for dining in, however carry out remains available. Even so, server Angelica Zirkelbach says business has been slow. As someone who depends upon tips, it is a cause for concern.

"I think everybody is concerned about how are we going to support our family? What are we going to do? It is not like servers always have a back-up plan. When you deal with making cash only that is a thing to put into perspective as far as maybe saving in the future for mishaps like this." says Zirkelbach

Zirkelbach says she hopes that customers remember that restaurants like Miss Katie's remain open and are ready to welcome customers, even if it is only for carry out.
