MILWAUKEE (SPECTRUM NEWS) -- Starting in July of 2020, workers at Fiserv Forum will receive $15 per hour.

The agreement comes after several months of bargaining between the Fiserv Forum and the Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Organization or MASH union.

Bucks Senior Vice President, Alex Lasry says he’s hoping the new wages will set the tone for employers across the state.

MASH represents more than 1,000 workers at Fiserv Forum including cooks, cashiers, and security guards. Workers say THIS NEW CONTRACT will improve workplace morale and overall service.

Long-time Concession Cashier at Fiserv, Lauren Stevens says Wednesday’s announcement is more about the future.

“This is about our future. Our Children, our grandchildren, and our great-grandchildren. This is about the future of Milwaukee being a city where you can make a living decent wage.

This contract represents a down payment on a better future for our families our neighborhoods and our city,” said Stevens.

The tentative agreement also includes a $15 per hour minimum pay for non-union arena workers employed by the Deer District. MASH members are conducting a ratification vote this week.
