CINCINNATI, OH (SPECTRUM NEWS) -- The Milwaukee Brewers clinched a postseason berth for the second straight year with a 9-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
The Brewers came into the night needing one win to secure at least a wild-card appearance, they jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the first inning in large part thanks to a Ryan Braun grand slam.
The Brewers are still one game behind the Washington Nationals for home field advantage in the Wild Card Game and 1.5 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals for the National League Central Division lead. The Cardinals have three games left while the Brewers have four.
