Lee Donahue is a town supervisor in the Town of Campbell, near La Crosse.
The community is reliant on private wells for its water and has been dealing with PFAS contamination.
Donahue said the situation is frustrating, but said she likes to focus on the community’s accomplishments in dealing with the problem.
She said those include:
- Thorough testing around the community
- The DNR stepping in to provide 5-gallon jugs of water as neighbors’ new water source
- Federal funding and the potential for more money coming at the state level
