The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is launching a series of industry-specific guidelines for how businesses should operate once a reopening does take place.
Along with a list of general guidelines, the lists are industry specific to things like Hotels and Lodging, Hair Salons, Manufacturing, and Gyms. They offer recommendations for cleaning practices and contact with customers. The WEDC guidelines have been reviewed by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, however the reccomedations themselves come from the business community.
“We went out and searched and talked with all sorts of associations and businesses and said what are you doing? What are the protocols you are putting in place and can we borrow those?” says WEDC CEO Missy Hughes
If you would like to access the guidelines, you can visit the WEDC website.
