JANESVILLE, Wis (SPECTRUM NEWS) -- When it comes to tough cookies, a Rock County octogenerian baker takes the cake.  Rollin Pin Baker owner Bob Hiller has been making sweets for 74 years. Just two weeks shy of his 90th birthday, he tries to stay as healthy as possible.

‘I just eat the right foods, don’t drink or smoke,’ Hiller chuckled.  The truth is Hiller has a sweet tooth and loves to taste-test his treats.  He's known to eat a dozen cookies a day.  His family says his ambition and career is nothing short of inspiring.

‘He built this from nothing…and been able to keep this going all these years," Granddaughter Celeste Hiller said.  Her Grandfather, a high school dropout went onto become an internationally known baker and served in the Korean War.  But, Bob the Baker says the experience abroad in Korea was difficult and  played the role of 'Bob the cook.'

"Not so great, never want to go back there, " he said.

These days, Bob spends most days working at his bakery.

‘Im just gonna try and keep it going, I just can’t stand sitting in that house at home,’ he said.
