1. Kentucky beats Illinois 84-75 for first Sweet 16 appearance since 2019

Koby Brea matched a career high with 23 points. Kentucky, the No. 3 seed in the Midwest Region, faces No. 2 seed and Southeastern Conference rival Tennessee Friday in Indianapolis.

2. Curry's 41 points not enough, Louisville women fall to TCU

Seventh-seeded Louisville Women's Basketball had its season come to an end, falling 85-70 to second-seeded TCU. Olivia Cochran had a 15-point performance as she finished her Cardinal career. 

3. Water upgrades disrupt River Road businesses

While the Louisville Water Company is in the middle of a two-year project to upgrade water pipes along River Road, businesses said they are taking a hit.

4. KYL: ‘Sextortion’ becomes a felony with Beshear’s signature as some hot-button bills await his action

Gov. Andy Beshear had signed the pair of bills as of Tuesday evening, but is taking his time on some high-profile legislation having to do with health and social services, as shared by our partner, The Kentucky Lantern.
