Bella Phelps is this week’s Spectrum News High School Scholar. She has a 4.2 GPA at Dixie Heights High School in Edgewood. Phelps Has written four novels in the Young Adult Fantasy genre, and the latest was picked up by an agent. She volunteers at a local hospital and was selected by her peers to be on the “Hope Squad” to fight teen suicide.
