Temperatures fall tonight as a blast of Arctic air works its way through the state.

Lows fall into the 20s tonight, with wind chills in the teens, then single digits by Saturday morning.

Cold, windy conditions stick around through mid-week, and stout northwest winds shovel in lake effect snow to much of the northeast Ohio Snowbelt. Some spots are looking at 12-24" of snow through early next week. Lake Effect snow warnings go into effect tonight.

Snow squalls could dump 1-2" of snow per hour, leading to poor visibility, and gusts to 35-40 mph also look possible.
