There's always plenty to do in Ohio over the weekend, but Spectrum News 1 gathered some of the highlights around each major metropolitan area across the state.

Here's some of this weekend's events:

Cleveland

13th Annual Cleveland Kurentovanje Festival and Parade

  • When and where: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 1 at the Slovenian National Home located at 6409 Saint Clair Avenue
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Info: Celebrate the annual event with a parade at noon, events for children, bands and more

Cleveland Auto Show

  • When and where: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 1 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 2
  • Cost: Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for kids age 7-12 and seniors over 62
  • Info: This is your last weekend to check out the Cleveland Auto show in Cleveland, inlcuding the grand finale at 4 p.m. March 2

Columbus

Arnold Sports Festival

  • When and where: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 1 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 2 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, located at 400 N. High St. 
  • Cost: Prices vary, see website for details
  • Info: Fitness enthusiasts, get excited. The Arnold Expo is returning for 2025 featuring competitions, merchandise, nutrition and more 

Columbus reptile expo

  • When and where: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 2 at 3300 Refugee Road in Columbus
  • Cost: Admission is $5 but kids 10 and younger are free
  • Info: This event features reptiles for sale as well as plenty of supplies

Cincinnati

Cincinnati Chili Week

  • When and where: Feb. 24 - March 2
  • Info: Check out the last couple days of Chili Week in Cincinnati, featuring deals on the dish ranging from $5 to $7

The Wizard of Oz

  • When and where: 2 and 7:30 p.m. March 1 and 1 p.m. March 2 at the Cincinnati Music Hall, located at 1241 Elm St.
  • Cost: Prices vary, see website for details
  • Info: The yellow-brick road, the ruby slippers. You know the story, but this is your chance to see the performance live on stage, with the last show on March 2

Dayton

Old Town Trade Faire

  • When and where: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3 at the Greene County Expo Center, located at 120 Fairground Road
  • Cost: Admission at the door is $4
  • Info: Check out dealers, collectors, crafters and more with items relating to those that could be found before 1890

Fifth Annual Micro Drone Race

  • When and where: March 1-3 at the National Museum of the United States Air Force (times vary, see website for details)
  • Info: Check out flight races on a small scale. You'll see the race in person and on a screen showing the view of the drone. If you can't make it, you can always check it out live on YouTube on the Cincinnati Quad Racers channel 

Toledo

Glass City Wine Festival

  • When and where: March 1 at Glass City Center, located at 401 Jefferson Ave. in Toledo (times vary depending on tickets purchased)
  • Info: Check out various wine vendors, other types of vendors, food and more. You even have the chance to register for a workshop while enjoying the wine

Ohio Vintage Fest

  • When and where: Noon to 5 p.m. March 2 at Glass City Center, located at 401 Jefferson Ave. in Toledo
  • Cost: General admission is $5, early bird is $10 and free gor kids younger than 12
  • Info: Whether you're looking to find vintage clothes, homedecor, toys or something else, you'll likely find something of interest at this event
