Four of those touchdowns came from wide receiver Garrett Wilson, a career-high day for the junior.

Wilson missed last weekend's game against Nebraska and said he was glad to come back with this performance.

“Honestly, I just came out here and did what I loved doing and I missed it last week, being able to be out there with my brothers," Wilson said. "So to come back and be able to play like we did on offense and have the game I did, it feels good for sure.”

Ohio State was effective in the red zone, something head coach Ryan Day has emphasized the last few weeks.

The Buckeyes scored on nine of its 11 drives, with the last one ending in a knee.

“This was a typical November game in the Big Ten," Day said. "Some wind, cold. And that’s just what we gotta do. The best teams play well in November.”

Day said quarterback C.J. Stroud prepared the most for this game and he was glad to see that pay off.

Stroud had five touchdowns with more than 350 yards.

“I feel like as a leader on the offense and a leader on the team, I feel like it’s my job to prepare," Stroud said. "I go to them constantly throughout the week, I’ve seen this on film and usually it happens in the game. I feel like that’s a plus and it’s a step ahead.”

The Buckeyes have a pair of top 10 matchups coming up against Michigan State and the Team Up North.

Wins against both would secure a trip to the Big Ten Championship in December.
