OHIO — The National Weather Service said it determined another tornado touched down during storms on Sunday, March 30, making it the 12th tornado confirmed in Ohio.

This tornado hit Obetz in Franklin County and it was rated an EF0. There were minor damage to homes, uprooted trees and other reports of damage from the tornado. It traveled for a little over 2.5 miles, according to NWS.

So far, we're well-below the number of tornadoes that Ohio saw this time last year, which NWS Wilmington states was 30. It was a record-breaking year for Ohio last year after 74 tornadoes were confirmed, smashing a record from 1992 for most tornadoes in a year.
