Rainfall totals were well above average across Ohio this March, but snow for the month was at or near record lows acrosss much of Ohio.
In Cleveland, an average of 12.6" of snow falls during the month of March, but at Cleveland Hopkins, only a Trace was reported for the entire month making it the least snowy March on record. Likelwise, only a trace of snow fell in Cincinnati and March 2020 was the 2nd least snowy March on record. Columbus and Toledo were the 6th and 7th least snowy respectively.
The record low snow was not due to a lack of moisture, however. Cleveland saw the 7th wettest March on record. Rainfall totals were anywhere from 2-5" above normal for the month of March across the state.
