The southbound side of Interstate 295 between Exit 10 and Falmouth and Exit 15 in Yarmouth will be closing overnight twice this week, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.
The closures will occur on Tuesday, Feb. 18 and Wednesday, Feb. 19.
The closures will run from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
MaineDOT says it needs to close those lanes so crews can work on the $7.8 million Johnson Road Bridge project in Falmouth.
Northbound lanes will close the nights of Thursday, Feb. 20 and Monday, Feb. 24.
During these closures, the I-295 northbound on-ramp from the Falmouth Spur will also be closed.
The same detour route will be used for both southbound and northbound interstate closures.
Drivers should use Route 1 and Bucknam Road to get between Exits 10 and 15 on I-295.
