Bengals re-sign tight end Drew Sample to 3-year contract extension

CINCINNATI — According to ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Cincinnati Bengals are re-signing tight end Drew Sample to a three-year contract extension.

Sample, 27, has played 5 seasons in the NFL, all with the Bengals. In 2023, he had 22 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

This will make Sample a member of the Bengals through the 2026 season.

He was a second round pick of the Bengals in 2019. He played college football at Washington.
