CLEVELAND — On March 5, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host a bobblehead night honoring Travis and Jason Kelce, the Cleveland Heights stars who have been extremely successful in the NFL.
In a game played against the Boston Celtics, every fan in attendance will receive a limited edition bobblehead of the Kelce brothers.
Both Travis and Jason began their careers at Cleveland Heights High School. Jason, 2004-2008, was a two-time all league selection and Travis, 2004-2008, was a three-year letter-winning quarterback and three-season athlete. To recognize the brothers’ hometown roots, the Cavs have donated $10,000 towards Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives, an organization that is important to both Jason and Travis.
They both attended the University of Cincinnati and were drafted into the NFL. Jason won Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles and Travis has won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, LIV and LVII. Travis and the Chiefs have a chance to add to the trophy case as they take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday.
In 2022, the brothers launched their football-focused podcast, New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce, which has continued to grow its success as their careers progress on the field. In 2023, Spotify named the New Heights podcast the Top Podcast Globally, the Top Sports Podcast in the U.S. and the Top American Football podcast in the U.S.
The Cavs Team Shop, Center Court, will also launch a Kelce Brothers collaboration, The Kelce Bros: Cleveland’s Finest, the night of the game. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives. Fans can sign up to be notified when the limited edition merchandise goes on sale at cavaliersteamshop.com.
