COLUMBUS, Ohio — After a record setting season, Ohio State University wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been named as a Heisman Trophy finalist.

According to ESPN, Bo Nix (QB-Oregon), Jayden Daniels (QB-LSU) and Michael Penix Jr. (QB-Washington) were also named finalists. 

Over the last 20 years, only four non-quarterbacks have won the award. The last OSU player to win the Heisman was Troy Smith in 2006. CJ Stroud was a finalist in 2021 and 2022.

The winner of the illustrious award, annually given to the best player in college football, will be announced on Saturday, Dec. 9.
