CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Public Library hosted their "Girl Power" event Thursday, an event that brought together 650 students from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. 

According to a library announcement, the event allows these students "to participate in dynamic breakout sessions designed to cultivate leadership skills, self-expression and personal growth."

The event's keynote speaker was best-selling author Tomi Adeyemi, and the event was presented by PNC Bank.
