CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is offering reduced adoption fees of $25 through Sunday, April 13 for all dogs four months and older.
It's part of the shelter's "Blow the Woof Off" adoptions program. The shelter also recently took in nine dogs from the Hopkin's County Humane Society in Kentucky after the area was hit by severe storms, and those dogs are also available for adoption.
“We know that the Hopkins County Humane Society is in a tough spot right now, and we’re just happy to be able to lend support,” said Cuyahoga County External Affairs Manager Jen Huettich. “To make room for our newest arrivals, we’re hoping this promotion inspires people to come in and adopt – or foster – some of our amazing adoptable dogs.”
Adoption fees are normally $95. The adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines, a 2025 dog license, microchipping and a current rabies tag.
The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
