COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Commons, a six-acre area for the community that sits in the heart of downtown, announced a massive summer lineup of concerts, movies, events and more. 

"It's getting hot in Downtown Columbus with all the returning favorites and brand-new events alike coming your way this summer season," Columbus Commons wrote in a Facebook post. "Whether you’re a food truck connoisseur, local music fan or maybe a fitness fanatic — with 200+ events, there’s something for everyone. We can't wait for the fun to start!"

As for music, every performance is free, including one by rapper Nelly. In addition to Nelly, here are the other concerts the Columbus Commons has planned:

    A Song Remains: A Night of Led Zeppelin with a Pink Floyd Tribute
  • Sunday, June 8
    Parker Louis with The Deeptones
  • Thursday, July 31
    Mojo x Yoncé A MojoFlo Beyoncé show with Eric Rollin & Friends
  • Thursday, Aug. 14
    Zoo Trippin’, Paul Valdiviez & The Devious Boys, & The High Definitions
  • Friday, Aug. 29
    The Dead Revival Band & The Groove Brothers Band: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band
  • Sunday, Aug. 31
    Shadowbox Live Performance of Rock This Way: A Music Tribute to Aerosmith and Van Halen
  • Friday, Sept. 26
    The Navigators

  • Sunset movies: All in October at 7 p.m. Films include:
    Goosebumps: Oct. 2
    Hocus Pocus: Oct. 9
    The Goonies: Oct. 16
    Wicked: Oct. 23
    The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oct. 30
  • Free fitness activites from May through September
    Tuesdays: HITT at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
    Wednesdays: Yoga at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
    Carousel rides, which will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting April 17
