Asia Plaza in Cleveland is celebrating the Lunar New Year with dancing, shows, music and food. Local restaurants and stores had tables set up with AsiaTown Cleveland providing crafts.

The holiday has cultural significance for many Asian countries including China, Korea and Vietnam.

Anna Chen, with Asian Services in Action, said this event is an important annual tradition to show off the city of Cleveland's diversity. 

This Lunar New Year is the Year of the Snake, and it's the first Year of the Snake since 2013.
