Cleveland
Nassau Astronomy Night with CVAS
- When and where: 7 to 11 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Nassau Astronomical Station, located at 10317 Clay St in Montville

- Info: Join others around the telescope, looking closely at the night sky from the Nassau Astronomical Station
- When and where: 12 to 4 p.m. Dec. 21 at Skylight Park at Tower City, located at 230 West Huron Road in Cleveland
- Cost: Free
- Info: Enjoy live shows, ice sculpting, face painting and more at this Frozen-themed event
Columbus
- When and where: Dec. 19-22 at the Riffe Center Studio Two
- Cost: General admission is $47.11
- Info: Check out this one-woman rendition of the Christmas classic, with Angela Iannone as the sole cast member
- When and where: Most dates Dec. 12-28 (see website for details) at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus
- Cost: Prices vary, see website for details
- Info: Catch the iconic ballet before the holiday season ends. Enjoy the music, the dance, the costuming of the holiday classic
Cincinnati
- When and where: 10 a.m. Dec. 21 at 940 Pavilion St. in Cincinnati
- Info: This event in the Mt. Adams neighborhood features a 5k run or walk and also offers participants eggnog and other food/drink after they complete the race
Scuba Santa’s Water Wonderland
- When and where: Select days Nov. 29- Dec. 24, including 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Newport Aquarium
- Cost: Included with admission, but Scuba Santa Breakfast and admission will run you $49.99 for age 13 and up, and $38.99 for ages 2-12
- Info: Most kids see Santa sitting on a chair, sit on his lap and tell him what they want for Christmas. Not as many see him swimming in a tank of water with aquatic creatures like they can at the Newport Aquarium
Dayton
The Ugly Sweater ‘Oh What Fun’ Run
- When and where: 10 a.m. Dec. 21 at Forest Field Park, located at 2100 East Centerville Station Road
- Cost: Free
- Info: The day after National Ugly Sweater Day throw it back on and get ready to run at this event from the Centerville-Washington Park District. You can also enter a raffle by voting on nature's ugliest sweater
Winter Wonderland at Rabbit Hole Books
- When and where: 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 21 at Rabbit Hole Books, located at 27 West First St. in Dayton
- Info: Snap a photo with Santa, enjoy some sweets and do some shopping at this event. What more do you need?
Toledo
Toledo Farmers' Market Holiday Fest
- When and where: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 21 at 525 Market St. in Toledo
- Cost: Free admission
- Info: What's better than a farmers' market? That's right, a holiday-themed one. The market will include giveaways; a selfie station with the iconic Dr. Seuss character, The Grinch; holiday music and more
Christmas Light Helicopter Tours
- When and where: Booking available Dec. 20-22 and future dates (see website for details), taking off from the Toledo Suburban Airport
- Cost: $199 per person
- Info: Soar over northwest Ohio sights, including downtown, the zoo and neighborhoods to see extravagant light displays from the sky.
