Ohio State ranked No. 8 in the College Football Playoff, will play Tennessee at Ohio Stadium

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State has made the 12-team College Football Playoff.

The No. 8 Buckeyes will play their opening round game against the Tennessee Volunteers at Ohio Stadium.

The Buckeyes went 10-2 in the 2024 regular season. Their loss to unranked Michigan forfeited their chance to play for the Big Ten title. The Tennessee Volunteers went 10-2 and play in the SEC.

The game is Saturday, Dec. 21. Kickoff is 8 p.m.
