According to a team press release, Terry was third in the U.S. for “attacks per set, fourth in total attacks, eighth in kills per set and ninth in total kills.”

“We needed a big arm on the outside with a big presence on block,” Head Coach Angel Perez said in the release. “I feel like we got that with Rena. She is the top scorer in the Big Ten and the cherry on top she is a native of (Marengo) Ohio.”

The other Ohioan is Walker, who attended John Glenn High School in Cambridge. She was chosen as the ACC Freshman of the Year.

“Abby is a steal in the draft,” Perez said in the release. “We were looking for a middle that could move side-to-side quickly and Abby fits the mode."
