COLUMBUS, Ohio — Thanksgiving week has arrived, bringing with it the Ohio State versus Michigan rivalry game, one of the biggest in college football, on Saturday.
Their first meeting was in 1897 as the Wolverines took down Ohio State 38-0 in Ann Arbor. Michigan has the lifetime edge, boasting a 61-51-6 all time record.
In the last three seasons, Michigan has won their yearly game. Before winning those three, Ohio State had been on a roll in the rivalry, winning eight straight.
However, this year Ohio State (10-1), ranked No. 2 in the country, is hoping to avenge their skid against Michigan. Last year, Michigan used the victory to propel their team to a National Championship. Michigan (6-5) is having a down season and is currently unranked.
Ohio State is a heavy favorite to win the game after beating down No. 5 Indiana 38-15.
