COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State University is losing its edge in the annual Blood Battle against the University of Michigan.

Ohio State currently leads by seven pints of blood against Michigan, 1,073 units to 1,066 units.

The Buckeyes are hosting 14 more blood drives before the challenge ends on Nov. 27, just before the teams faceoff. Versiti Blood Center of Ohio recently announced that through the end of drive, all donors will be registered to win two tickets to the Ohio State vs. Michigan game on Nov. 30.

In order to donate blood, donors need to bring identification to view all the blood drives or schedule an appointment by clicking here. To get ahead, fill out the health history questionnaire can be completed online ahead of the appointment, but walk-ins are also accepted. Donors will receive free parking vouchers for the drives.

Donors have an opportunity to donate at the Ohio Stadium Recruit Room, Gate 30 on Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. where they will receive $5 Rooster bucks and a free t-shirt.

There are also blood drives on Nov. 20, 21, 25 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Ohio Union, 1739 North High St. with similar incentives.
