Fans will see the uniform firsthand—in addition to a themed home court—at the Cav’s Nov. 17 game against the Hornets. The uniform will also be worn at five other games throughout the season: Dec. 5 and 23, Jan. 12 and March 5 and 27.

“The Nike NBA City Edition collection is a league-wide initiative created to honor the inherent bond between court, community and culture,” the release reads. “Each team introduces a different City Edition uniform every season that represents the stories, history and heritage that make their franchise unique.”

The two-tone blue uniforms read The LAND on the front and have various drawings and symbols on the sides. The release states that the pattern “encourages fans of all ages to customize their own jerseys by coloring in the symbols.”

"Art and sport are two powerful forms of human expression, and this is a great opportunity to highlight all the ways that they both inspire and connect people from every walk of life," said Todd Mesek, chief marketing officer at the Cleveland Museum of Art, in the release. "This partnership not only celebrates the great traditions that connect us, but also the opportunities we have to inspire the next generation.”

Chris Kaiser, the chief marketing officer for the Cavs, said the uniform honor’s the city’s culture of visual arts.

“It was designed to take fans back to where most of them first encountered art – through coloring books and paint-by-numbers – while connecting them to a beloved Cleveland institution,” Kaiser said in the release. “This year’s uniform transforms each of its designers into artists and its models into living works of art.”

That pattern and color palette will be echoed in the special home-court design as well for those six games.

Merchandise with this design is available for sale at the online store, and the release states that limited items are available at the shop at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Fan with tickets to the Nov. 15 game against the Bulls “will have first access to the jerseys and entire 2024-25 City Edition collection inside Center Court,” the release states.
