CANTON, Ohio — A new partnership between the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton and the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta will allow those with a membership to either HoF to receive admission to both.
A press release from the Pro Football Hall of Fame states that visitors need only show their membership card and a government photo ID for access.
“Partnering this way with the College Football Hall of Fame will allow football fans to trace the arc of their favorite players and teams from college through to the pros,” said Jim Porter, Pro Football Hall of Fame president & CEO, in the release. “We’re confident this agreement will bring added appreciation of the rich history of the game and encourage visitors to see what each museum has to offer.”
The College Football Hall of Fame will honor the various levels of membership offered by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, allowing equivalent access, the release states. It gives the example that their gold membership would allow for two adults and any children to have access at both facilities.
“This collaboration with the Pro Football Hall of Fame provides unparalleled access for fans, allowing guests to connect the journeys of some of football’s greatest players from Atlanta to Canton,” said Kimberly Beaudin, president and CEO of the College Football Hall of Fame, in the release. “We look forward to welcoming Pro Football Hall of Fame members to the Capital of College Football and celebrating the enduring legacy of the sport together.”
The release notes a similar structure has been in place between the Pro Football Hall of Fame and National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, since 2019.
