CLEVELAND — This Sunday’s Browns vs. Bengals game at Huntington Bank Field will be rather special, as it will be the first-ever Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Game, celebrating the Rock Hall’s Induction Week.
“The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Browns together embody the passion of our city. We are thrilled to partner with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for their 2024 Induction Week with this special first-time collaboration on Sunday,” said Brent Rossi, senior vice president of marketing & media at Haslam Sports Group, in a press release. “Before and throughout the game, we will highlight this year’s Inductees in a number of different ways, connecting our fans with the history of rock & roll in Cleveland through football.”
Throughout the day, viewers will see various inductees from this year’s class and previous, in addition to “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame branded takeover elements as well as activations and surprises celebrating” the inductees.
There will be giveaways during the game and special performances.
Foreigner, who is a Hall of Fame inductee this year, will be performing during halftime. There will also be a performance, after the third quarter, from Ozzy Osbourne lead guitarist Zakk Wylde and guitarist Max Stak.
Wylde will also perform the National Anthem, and Kool & the Gang co-founder and bass guitarist, Robert “Kool” Bell, will be the coin toss captain.
There will also be an Ozzy Osbourne “Bark At The Moon” Takeover on Dawg Pound Drive, which the release says will feature an Osbourn-branded guitar smash photo opportunity, a bar and more.
If you’re looking to purchase souvenirs, look out for Ozzy Osbourne bandannas and rock & roll-themed hoodies for sale.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Cleveland Browns to highlight the massive impact and influence of our Inductees on rock & roll, the music that connects us all,” said Greg Harris, President & CEO, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum in the release. “The first ever Cleveland Browns Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Game will be an exciting feature of our 2024 Induction Week when the national spotlight shines on Cleveland.”
