OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in partnership with the 6-State Trooper Project, recently conducted an initiative focused on criminal patrol and drug interdiction.

In Ohio, OSHP made 54 felony drug arrests and recovered 13 illegal firearms.

The initiative began Thursday, Sept. 12 and continued through Sunday, Sept. 15. Alongside the OSHP, the 6-State Trooper Project included the Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police and West Virginia State Police . 

Officers made 441 felony drug arrests and recovered 40 illegal firearms in total.
