AKRON, Ohio — Runners are preparing to take part in the last of three races for the 22nd Akron Marathon Race Series. 

The last part, which is on the weekend of Sept. 27-28, includes the Akron Marathon, the Akron Half Marathon, and the relay. According to organizers, the city welcomes more than 15,000 participants annually for the events. 

With the races stretching across the city, there will be a lot of road closures. So drivers, here's what you should be aware of for your weekend commutes:
