One event includes the 42nd Annual Fall Harvest Festival and Capout from Sept. 13 to 15 at Lake Loramie State Park, located at 11070 State Route 362 in Minster. The festival brings a wide array of family attractions from a mum flower sale, craft exhibitions, food vendors and an antique power show for vintage tractors and equipment.

The campground is fully booked, but overflow camping is now available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

At Malabar Farm State Park, located at 4050 Broomfield Road in Lucas, the 47th Annual Ohio Heritage Days Festival runs from Sept. 28 to 29. One of the largest outdoor craft and living-history events, the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors will get a glimpse of the past with traditional crafts ranging from woodworking, weaving, blacksmithing and quilt-making alongside historical reenactments and displays of Civil War and WWII camps near the Big House.
