CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Care & Control took in 45 dogs during the Labor Day weekend, and their adoption/volunteer program, City Dogs Cleveland, is saying the kennel is “very full.”

“Very few of these dogs have gone back to their owners and we are totally out of space,” reads a City Dogs Cleveland social media post. “We need our community’s help to get dogs into homes!”

They also say now is a great time to adopt.

“We have so many pups with great personalities: sweet, playful, smart, engaging, and all ready to show you love,” the post reads. “We have young puppies as well as more mature adults looking for homes, and can help you find a fit whether you’re looking for a playmate, running buddy or couch potato.”
