CLEVELAND — Lake County had another earthquake Tuesday night, but this one was much smaller than previous ones.
The U.S. Geological Survey said it was a 1.8-magnitude earthquake, which hit northwest of Eastlake at 10:26 p.m.
The "Shakemap" shows this one was barely felt by nearby residents, being ranked as "light" shaking.
A handful of earthquakes have been felt in recent months in Lake County. According to the Ohio Seismic Network, there was a 2.2-magnitude earthquake on June 2 just 1.6 miles southeast of Madison in Lake County. There was another earthquake 2.8 miles southeast of Madison on June 1 with a rating of 2.8.
