COLUMBUS, Ohio — If you're interested in seeing more than just fireworks this Fourth of July, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with only $5 admission.

“There is no better place than the NVMM on July 4th to learn about the history of our country and those who fought and died for our freedoms,” said Col. Bill Butler, U.S. Army (Retired), acting president of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, in a press release.

Any active-duty service members, Gold Star Family Members and veterans receive free admission as usual.

That admission does include access to the Ghost Army: The Combat Con Artists of World War II exhibition.

The museum is located at 300 W. Broad St. in Columbus.
