SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — If you’re planning to celebrate the Fourth of July, part of the evening’s plans should be ensuring you have a safe and sober ride home.

Summtt County is helping with that, by bringing back their Arrive Alive program that allows for a free ride home from Lyft for those in the county from 6 p.m. July 3 to 9 a.m. July 7.

The program is a partnership between the county prosecutor’s office and the sheriff, in an effort to keep drunk drivers off the road this holiday.

There will be 600 one-time use codes available for riders in Summit County. They can cover up to a $20 ride. Just use the code: SUMMITJULY4.
