CLEVELAND — The MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute has expanded its outpatients services to one of its centers, and plans to implement more services at another in the near future.
As of this month, the Broadway Health Center on 6835 Broadway Ave. in Cleveland now offers adult physical therapy outpatient services, such as for orthopaedics, musculoskeletal weakness, sports injuries and post-operative rehab.
Additionally, later this summer, MetroHealth's Bedford Medical Offices on 19999 Rockside Rd. will offer outpatient physical therapy for adults, as well as outpatient pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
"Our therapists help our patients reach their goals," said Dr. Richard Wilson, chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. “They work with patients whose cases are medically complex and are often made even more complex because of the social barriers they face. Our clinicians have authored chapters in textbooks, and they present at national conferences every year. They are extremely talented at what they do. And, most importantly, they care very deeply for the well-being of our patients.”
Outside of the Broadway location, outpatient therapy services are also offered at the following locations:
- Main Campus
- Old Brooklyn Medical Center
- Parma Medical Center
- West 150th Health and Surgery Center
- Cleveland Height Medical Center
- State Road Family Practice
- Middleburg Heights November Family Health Center
- Broadview Heights Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy
- Westlake Physical Therapy at the West Shore Family YMCA
- Beachwood Health Center
