COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio soccer fans will have another chance to see Chelsea FC and Manchester City from the English Premier League ahead of their friendly match.
The rival teams will be having open training sessions at Lower.com Field on Aug. 2, with tickets starting at $25, according to a team press release. Chelsea will be practicing at 5:30 p.m. and Manchester City at 7:30 p.m.
The general public can buy tickets at 10 a.m. on June 28, with season ticket holders and Black & Gold Next Members able to purchase tickets at 10 a.m. June 26.
The day after, on Aug, 3, the teams will play a “friendly match” at Ohio Stadium.
“The Chelsea and Manchester City open trainings at Lower.com Field and friendly at Ohio Stadium are part of the Crew’s ‘Summer of Soccer’ in Columbus,” the release reads. “The Club and Central Ohio also earned the ability to host 2024 MLS All-Star Game festivities from July 20-24 and a Leagues Cup Showcase match against Aston Villa Football Club, which recently qualified for the UEFA Champions League.”
