KNOX COUNTY, Ohio — Strong storms swept through parts of central Ohio Wednesday night, leaving damage behind for residents to clean up. 

Storms particularly hit Knox County hard, with rotation being spotted near Centerburg, Gambier by Kenyon College, Howard and the Apple Valley Lake area. 

The National Weather Service will send several teams out Thursday to survey the damage to determine how many tornadoes touched down.
