COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department announced this year's dates for the Cap City Festivals.
Cap City Festivals have been held for over a decade with the goal of uniting neighborhoods to create memories in a safe environment, according to a press release from the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.
Between May and August, the festivals will be hosted in various neighborhoods with food and live music from groups and artists like Sonicc Blush and Whitney Taylor Ray. Additionally, there will be activities like a zip line, inflatables and a climbing wall.
Each Cap City Festival runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and admission is free.
Here are this year's festivals:
- Near East: Saturday, May 18 at Saunders Park (1380 Atcheson St.)
- Livingston: Saturday, June 8 at Driving Park (1100 Rhodes Ave.)
- Mideast: Saturday, June 22 at Barnett Park (1184 Barnett Rd.)
- Hilltop: Saturday, July 13 at Westmoor Park (3015 Valleyview Dr.)
- Northeast: Saturday, Aug. 3 at Northeast Park (2505 N. Cassidy Ave.)
- Far South: Saturday, Aug. 24 at Scioto Southland Park (3901 Parsons Ave.)
