Colin White, a senior at Ottawa-Glandorf High School, has been named the 2024 Ohio Mr. Basketball by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, according to a press release from the association.
“White has helped lead the Titans to the OHSAA state tournament all four years of his high school career,” the release reads. “…He was a first-team All-Ohio selection as a sophomore and junior, with this season’s honors being announced next week.”
The team will compete in the state semifinals for Division III against Canal Winchester Harvest Prep at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. White has signed to play with Ohio State next year.
The runner-up was Jesse McCulloch, a senior at Cleveland Heights Lutheran East. In third place was Marcus Johnson, a sophomore at Garfield Heights.
