COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three new projects approved by leaders are expected to foster job creation and investments in the state.
Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted on Monday announced the approval of projects that are set to add 295 new jobs and retain 132 jobs statewide.
The projects take place in Franklin County, Wayne County and Defiance County. Together, the three projects are set to result $24 million in new payroll and spur $271 million in investments.
Infoverity U.S. (Franklin County) is expanding their company to Dublin. Infoverity is a professional services firm that specializes in data management services, offering expertise in areas such as master data management, data governance and analytics. This project expects to add 65 full-time positions and will generate $7 million in new annual payroll.
Welch Packaging Group, Inc. (Wayne County) is adding a new company location in Wooster. Welch Packaging Group is an independent custom cardboard packaging solutions manufacturer catering to a wide range of industries and assisting customers across the Midwest in getting their products to market. This expansion expects to add 50 full-time positions and generate more than $3.2 million in new annual payroll.
MMX Aluminum, LLC. (Defiance County) is adding a large company location in Defiance. MMX Aluminum specializes in assembling, sorting, recycling and wholesale distribution of aluminum scrap and waste materials. This project expects to create 180 full-time positions and generate $14.4 million in new annual payroll.
