CLEVELAND — At Cleveland's Tower City, you can enter a new world.
"We were hired in 2007 to be in charge of Tower City Santa Claus operations," said Jimmy Langa, founder and artistic director of Mr. Kringle & Company.
Over the years, their operation has evolved. Today, it’s called Kringle’s Inventionasium, and they partnered with STEM.org to create a STEM-Certified experience.
“So, indirectly, the children learn about the engineering design process," Langa said. "As they go around, they help Mr. Kringle invent toys for the holiday season. So they would brainstorm in one room, they would design in another, they would build rework and test their idea and then they would show and tell everyone what they’ve made."
