COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) has announced its adjusted holiday hours, specifically Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Bus lines will be in operation on Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1, 2024 on Sunday schedules. Customers can plan their bus trips by using the Transit app or visit COTA.com.

The Mainstream/Mainstream On-Demand service will run on regular hours throughout the holidays, but it will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The call center will have reduced hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24 through Dec. 25 and Dec. 31 through Jan. 2, 2024.

The COTA Plus South Columbus service will run as scheduled on the holidays. These regular hours are 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

The COTA Plus in Grove City & Westerville will be closed for service on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The customer care call center will also be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. 

The downtown location for the customer experience center will be closed on both holidays. It will reopen the following days at 8 a.m.
