CLEVELAND — Veteran comedian Dave Chappelle is hitting the road this fall, bringing his new tour to several cities, including Cleveland.

  • He currently resides in Yellow Springs, Ohio

He'll put on a show at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Sept. 8. Ticket sales with local presales start Wednesday, and general sales beginning on Thursday at 10 a.m. local time.

Those who attend "Dave Chappelle Live" won't be allowed to bring in any recording devices, including phones, into the arena, a press release stated. 

While Chappelle was born in Washington, D.C., he now calls Ohio home. Over the last few decades, he has resided in Yellow Springs, Ohio, which is about 20 miles outside of Dayton. He has hosted several shows there over the last few years as well.

  • Sept. 13: Indianapolis, Ind. — Gainbridge Fieldhouse
  • Sept. 15: New Orleans, La. — Smoothie King Arena
  • Sept. 17: Kansas City, Miss. — T-Mobile Center
  • Sept. 18: Omaha, Neb. — CHI Health Center
  • Sept. 21: Nashville, Tenn. — Bridgestone Arena
  • Sept. 23: Saint Paul, Minn. — Xcel Energy Center
