OHIO — The U.S. Women's Nation Team prepares to take the international stage as the 2023 Women's World Cup begins on July 20.

The ninth FIFA Women's World Cup is being co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand and runs through Aug. 20 with 32 nations competing.

Matches begin Thursday, 3 a.m. ET, with New Zealand vs. Norway, but the heavily-favored-to-win USWNT takes the World Cup stage at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 21, in their first match against Vietnam.

All the matches are being broadcasted through Fox, FS1 and Telemundo. 

The USWNT's second match is against the Netherlands on July 26, also at 9 p.m. ET, while their third match against Portugal airs 3 a.m. ET, because of the international time difference.

The team is seeking its third consecutive title, an unprecedented goal for both mens and womens soccer teams internationally.
