WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio — For the past two days leaders from the House Intelligence Committee spent time at Wright-Patterson AFB.

“Everyone is leaving impressed with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base with the work that’s being done here at NASIC. We got to showcase to these directors the people and the work that’s being done here including the secretary of the Air Force himself,” said Rep. Mike Turner. 

With a bipartisan effort, more than 25 members from the committee got a first-hand look at work being done at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and the National Space Intelligence Center. 

Members said the deep dive discussions play a critical role in our national security assets. 

“The work was very heavy but we had great leadership here and we really had great conversations about things we want to do going forward, some of it legislative some just within our agencies that we need to do and we were establishing what our priorities are,” said Rep. Brad Wenstrup. 

Along with members from the House Intelligence Committee and Air Force leadership, directors from National Intelligence, the CIA, and NSA also made the trip to Dayton for the meetings.
